We’re so excited to be taking QuickBooks Connect 2019 to Melbourne! Join us on May 30 & 31 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for two days of education, inspiration and networking opportunities.
What can I expect from QuickBooks Connect?
Intuit’s flagship event will unite small business, self-employed and accounting professionals under one roof to connect, learn and be inspired.
The first day, or Main Day, will include a jam-packed agenda of workshops run by leading industry figures, and keynote presentations. Hear from successful business pioneers as they share valuable advice and lessons learned en route to their first million in sales. Finish the day with our legendary party where there will be live music and special surprises along the way. Enjoy a drink or two on us while you unwind and build lasting connections.
Day two, our Advisor Day, has been designed purely for accountants and bookkeepers and will feature deep dive workshops with industry experts. Earn up to eight CPD points over two days with topics including Single Touch Payroll, streamlining your tax workflow, and digital transformation. Discover the latest industry trends from mind-opening speakers about what the future holds and the most important tech innovations for accounting professionals.
A quick note – attendance at sessions is run on a first-come, first-serve basis so we recommend familiarising yourself with the agenda to plan your day.
Be sure to visit our Developer Team in the exhibition hall and receive expert advice on which Apps will revolutionise the way you run your business. Don’t spend hours researching, our team will get you sorted on the spot!
What is the best way to get there?
The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre is in South Wharf, just off the Yarra. There is plenty of paid parking available at the Exhibition Centre car park which can be accessed via Normanby Road. There is additional parking at DFO South Wharf next to the centre which can be accessed via Convention Centre Place.
If you’re getting a taxi or ride-share, ask your driver to drop you off at the Clarendon Street entrance of the centre.
Southern Cross train station is the closest to the centre, approximately a 20 minute walk away. There are also trams running from Southern Cross station to Whiteman Street/Clarendon Street which is approximately a 10 minute walk from the centre.
What if I am not from Melbourne?
No problem, neither are we! If you’re flying in, Tullamarine Airport is to the north-west of Melbourne city. There are no rail links between the airport and the city but a taxi or Uber to the Convention and Exhibition Centre will cost between $50-65. Alternatively, you can take the Skybus to Southern Cross Station and make your way from there.
