Good day, Ellen108.

 

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I'm here to make sure your bookkeeper gets access and sign in to QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

 

If you're the Administrator, you can reset the bookkeeper's password by editing his/her profile. To do this task, please follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to QBDT as an Admin.
  2. Go to Company.
  3. Choose Set Up Users and Passwords.
  4. Select Set Up Users.
  5. If prompted, enter your Admin password and click on OK.
  6. In the User List, choose the user to change the password. 
  7. Click on Edit User.
  8. Remove the password and enter a new one.
  9. Select Next twice and then select Finish.
