How do I get my invoice to be the same as a square payment? Example: Invoice is for $57 but I receive $54.85 due to taxes. How do I get the invoice to close out?

Hi @sandrews73 ,

Did the customer actually pay your company $57.00 and you saying you only received $54.85 because you have to pay $2.15 in taxes? If that is the case, your $57.00 payment actually matches the invoice and should be recorded as such.

Your tax payout should be listed as an expense out payable to whatever tax agency it is due.  Check out this tutorial on Setting up your sales tax.

I hope this helps.  Good luck.
