There is currently no report designed to only provide the operating costs of a company in QuickBooks Desktop. You can run the Profit and Loss Standard Report and customize it to show the expenses per day.
Go to the Reports menu and select Company & Financial.
Choose Profit & Loss Standard.
Click the Customize Report button.
On the Display tab, choose the Report Date Range, then select Day on the Display columns by.
Pick the Filters tab and choose Account, then Expense and other expenses accounts.
