Let's perform a few steps that can help us resolve this concern.

 

Before doing so, let's make sure that your computer meets the system requirements for QBO app for Mac. Once verified, you can clear the cache by resetting the app's data. This is to start a clean slate.

 

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to Help.
  2. Click Reset App Data.

If the same thing happens, you can uninstall and reinstall the app.

 

Here's how to uninstall: 

  1. Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Application folder to the Trash.
  2. Go to Finder then choose Empty Trash.

Also, here's how to re-install:

  1. Go to this link.
  2. Scroll down and click Free Download in the Get the QuickBooks Mac or Windows App section.
  3. Click Download Now.
  4. Select the QuickBooks .dmg file in the downloads section.
  5. Drag the QuickBooks to the Application folder.
  6. Launch the QuickBooks App and the program will load to the sign-in page.

I checked our list of open alerts and I couldn't find anything similar to this. Let's use a different browser and log in to your account from there. Once done, open an invoice and check if you can click the Receive Payment button.

 

QBO works well with these browsers:

 

  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Google Chrome
  • Edge
  • Internet Explorer
  • Safari

I'm not running from a browser per se. I'm running the app from my Mac desktop.
