Welcome to the Community. I'm here to lend a hand with your concern about running reports in QuickBooks Desktop.
You can try comparing the Sales by Customer Summary and Profit and Loss report and use Cash as the report basis. You'll be able to see this option within the report in the upper-left corner of the screen.
To run Sales by Customer Summary, follow these steps:
Click the Reports tab at the top menu bar.
Click Sales by Customer Summary.
