converted Peachtree to Quickbooks desktop. Everything is wrong. First need to figure out how to clean up invoices with sales tax

converted from Peachtree to QuickBooks Desktop.  First need to correct the invoices with sales tax.  Right now the "counties & their sales tax rate" from Peachtree are coming over as a Sales tax item. Need to change that.  Also need to set up companies that have both taxable & non taxable amounts on their invoices.  The A/R aging report does not match up to the A/R aging report on Peachtree.  It has many really old invoices & credits on there & missing some unpaid invoices on the report.  Please help.  Trying to get this all set up so I can take it back to the office to start working on QuickBooks Monday morning with correct information.

Hello there, jr54.

You can set up and use an automated sales tax to automatically calculate sales tax when creating invoices or other transactions. Also, this to track your taxable and non-taxable transactions in QuickBooks.

Please take note that this will only calculate transactions moving forward. Kindly refer to this article for your guide: Set up sales tax in QuickBooks Desktop

Once done, you'll need to manually change the transactions affected by the conversion and manually add the sales tax.

Also, you'll have to manually enter the missing transactions the A/R aging reports with Peachtree and QuickBooks Desktop is matched.

Please let me know how it goes by leaving a comment below.

You can use the QuickBooks Conversion Tool to convert from Sage 50 (formerly Peachtree) to QuickBooks Desktop 2016 or later. Also, please refer the attached article below:
