I have a condo Assoc who received a 1099S for sale of an easement. Unfortunately, the Condo association does not own the land but is the individual members. Can the condo association issue a 1099S to each of the landowners for their portion of the proceeds?
Tax advice should come from a tax accountant - while we might offer a guess, I would not rely on anything without a reference when dealing with the IRS.
