Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I'm here to help share some information about the return policy for QuickBooks Desktop. 

 

If you purchased QuickBooks from Intuit and it's within 60 days of the ship, download, or unlock date, you're eligible for a refund under our satisfaction guarantee. You can request a refund through your Intuit Account.

 

Here's how:

  1. Log in to your Intuit Account.
  2. At the left, in the Products & Services applet, select Products.
  3. Find the product you want to return, and select the Return Product link at the right.
  4. Select a cancel reason.
  5. Click Return Product
  6. Wait for the confirmation that the product return was submitted successfully.
  7. An email will be sent to you as your refund is processed.

Once you've requested the refund, your license will be deactivated and you’ll no longer be able to use the product. 

 

You also have the option return your physical products within 60 days of purchase. To guide on the entire process please refer to this article: Return a QuickBooks product for a refund.

I purchased a subscription on sunday, it was not working. I called customer support and they advised me to cancel and resubscribe. I did that and requested a refund for the initialpurchase  which I had for less than 24 hours. It was denied and reson being policy

I am paying twice for the same product and the policy sates I can request a refund within 60 days

Hi Dvtts. Thanks for chiming in on this thread. Normally, when you cancel a new account within 24 hours of subscribing to it, your refund is processed automatically after canceling the account. That being said, I'd like to make sure you get the resolution you need so you can continue to use QuickBooks with peace of mind. From here, I recommend getting in touch with our phone support team so they can take a look at the account and make sure you get the refund within the guidelines of our policy.
