Allow me to share to you how the sales tax gets applied to your subscription invoices.

 

Intuit charges sales tax based on your state's tax laws. If you're exempted, you'll need to apply for sales tax exemption.

 

Please fax the following documents:

  • A cover letter that contains your company name, customer account number (CAN) or company ID (COID), as well as contact information (first and last name, address, phone number and email address)
  • Your currently subscribed products which need to be sales tax exempt
  • A state sales tax exemption certificate that states the name of the company or organization applying for Sales Tax Exempt status, as well as a written statement about the exemption from sales tax, and the state sales tax exempt ID number
