Florida Sales Tax Cap

Here in Florida there you only have to pay sales tax on a boat for the first $300,000. I wondered if Quickbooks has a way to set a cap on the amount of tax paid? Or is the only way to keep checking to see how much they paid?

You can pull up the Sales Tax Liability report, this will shows a summary of sales tax you’ve collected and owe to your tax agencies. Here's how:

  1. At the top menu bar, select Reports
  2. Choose Vendors & Payable
  3. Click Sales Tax LiabilitySales Tax Liabiltiy report.PNG
  4. Set the date range. Sales Tax Liability.PNG
