Why was I charged $20.90 by Intuit on a $21090.00 customer payment when the max I have been charged on larger payments was $15?

Was this an ACH payment?  If so, they recently increased/capped the fee @ $20 for existing customers.  New customers have to pay 1% on ACH fees so that would have been $210.90!  Yikes.  There are much cheaper options out there for making and receiving ACH payments.  Bill.com and Melio to name a couple.  They charge a flat rate - $0.49 in Bill.com and Melio gives you a few free ones each month.

Oops, missed that part.  You were charged 1%.  A 1% ACH fee is extraordinarily expensive.  It pains me to think QB users are paying Intuit 1% when they are generally less than $0.50 per ACH regardless of amount.
