What bank and type of account are you attempting to connect, are you attempting to connect the accounts using the app on a mobile device or a browser or a computer and at what stage of the connection process are you receiving the error message?

I'm having this problem too.  contacted the bank who said it was a technical fault and the third party needs to liaise directly with the bank.
