Can someone help me download my CVS bank transaction file?

I am attempting to file my taxes that I received an extension for. But now they are due. Anyway, I just realized Quickbooks stopped receiving my transactions on July 11, 2025. I made a CSV file of my bank transactions. But Quick Books will not upload the file.

Your CSV format may not have met QuickBooks' specifications, which is why the system didn't accept it. Please ensure it follows the required structure for a smooth upload process.

The program requires the Date, Description, and Amount columns, so please select the correct columns during mapping. If needed, rename your headers to match the program's titles.

Additionally, banks don't create their CSV files in the same format, so you may need to make further adjustments to import your transactions. Please refer to this article for additional tips: Common errors for importing bank transactions using CSV.

When ready, you can follow the steps below to upload your file:

  1. Go to All apps, then choose Accounting.
  2. Select Bank transactions.
  3. Click the Link account dropdown, then select Upload from file.
  4. Browse and select your document through the Upload from this device box, and click Continue.
  5. In the QuickBooks account dropdown, select the account you want to upload the transactions into, then click Continue.
  6. Match the columns in your file with the correct fields in QuickBooks and click Continue.
  7. Select the transactions, then select the Continue and Yes buttons afterward.
  8. Once finished, click Done.

Since you also mentioned that QuickBooks stopped receiving transactions on July 11, 2025, you can check your bank's website for any related notifications. Please note that QuickBooks Online depends solely on the information your financial institutions share.
