Question

Does deposit bank account have to be in the same company name as the invoice?

Does the bank account linked to my company in QB have to be in the same company name that I use in QB? I use one company name for QB and invoicing, but the bank account is in the name of a different company. If a customer pays an invoice with a credit card, will QB deposit the funds even if the company name on the bank account is different from the company name on the invoice (and in my QB account)?

Hello there, tevna.

You can link any bank account you have. It doesn't need to be in the same company name. Just make sure that it's transactional, which means Intuit can deposit and withdraw funds.

In these articles, you'll learn the types of accounts that you can use as the deposit to the account as well as the steps on how to change it.
