Question

Don't have green box under the R in my register. Item still shows up in banking, but it has been reconciled. What does this mean?

Hi there, deecooper,

The green box under the reconciled status indicates that the transaction was downloaded from your bank. On the other hand, it was manually created in QuickBooks, which is why you're not seeing the green box.

If you want to replace it with the transaction showing on your banking feeds, delete the reconciled entry in the register. Then, you can go to the For Review tab to add it back to your Chart of Accounts.

Once done, let's go to your banking feeds to match and bring it back to the register.

  1. From the left panel, select Banking.
  2. Go to For Review tab.
  3. Select the transaction, then click Add under Action.
  4. Click Go to Register.
  5. Under the reconcile status column, continually click this field to change the status to R.
  6. Click Save.
  7. Click Yes to confirm.

Please see the attached screenshots for your guidance.
