How do I enter a transaction to a SPECIFIC account? I have researched and I can't find a way.

Hi there, @v.rogers132.

You can add transactions directly into your QuickBooks Self-Employed account. Just make sure to categorize the entries properly upon entering them. Follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Transaction menu and tap Add Transaction
  2. Enter the amount and the description.
  3. Search the Select a category menu and choose the option to sort out your transaction.
  4. If you have a receipt, you can drag and drop it onto the form.
  5. Hit Save

For a more visual guide on how to add transactions manually, you can check out this article: Manually add transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed

To ensure that you'll be able to organize your transactions properly, I'd recommend checking the different categories below that you can use in the system:

Please don't hesitate to let me know if you should have any questions about this or anything else QuickBooks related. Have a wonderful day!
