How do I find out what type of account I have?

Just to clarify your question. Do you wish to purge your QBO account completely or only a certain account (e.g bank account) ? You may find which Plan you have now in Billing and subscription menu. You are not allowed to purge QBO Simple Start or if your account is > 60 days older. You should open a new QBO account.
