Question

How do you show a deposit that is on the Bank Statement but no recorded on Quickbooks? I have three entries that needed to be added as deposits.

I have tried using Receipts but that doesn't record to the Reconcile statement.

Let's add these deposits to your bank to reconcile it afterwards, @keithwachter711.

You can add this directly to your bank register as a deposit. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and proceed to the Chart of Accounts
  2. Click the View register from the Actions column of the account register that you'd like to add this deposit.
  3. Select the drop-down arrow below the Date column and choose Deposit
  4. Fill out the fields to complete the transaction and select Save once you're done.

Deposits are now added to the bank register and included in your reconciliation.

Check this article for more information: Manually add transactions to account registers in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if there's anything that I can assist further in adding your deposit. Take care and have a great rest of the day!
