Thanks for dropping by the QuickBooks Community, @stuschlackman.

Changing received (Money in) transactions to spent (Money out) is currently unavailable in QuickBooks Online. The program doesn’t have control over the data transmitted by your financial institution. Make sure to exclude the incorrect entries to remove them from the Banking screen.

Here’s how:

  1. From the For Review tab, mark all the boxes of the duplicate transactions.
  2. Click the Batch actions drop-down, then tap Exclude Selected.
  3. Go to the Excluded tab and select the checkboxes.
  4. Tap the Batch actions drop-down and tap Delete.

For more information, I recommend checking out this article: Exclude expenses from the downloaded bank transactions.

You can try downloading the entries again to see if this fixes the issue. If you continue to get the same result, I recommend performing the steps above, then add the transactions manually.

Please let me know how this goes and if there’s anything else you need. I’m here to help. Have a good one!
