I am adding my transactions for 2020, does anyone know how to show my payments as paid back in 2020?

You can record the transaction and set 2020 as a date from the Invoices page. Then, manually mark it as paid. I can show you how.

1. Open your QuickBooks Self-Employed account, then click on Invoices at the left pane.
2. Click on the Create Invoice tab.
3. Set the invoice date to 2020, then fill in the rest of the information.
4. Save the invoice.

To mark the invoice as paid:

1. Go to the Invoices page, then locate the transaction.
2. Tap on the drop-down arrow under Action.
3. Select Mark as paid.
