I have a hosted QB Enterprise company. I backed up the data but can't find out how to import into our new QB Online account

There are few things you need to consider when importing your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) data into QuickBooks Online (QBO). Among these are the following:

• You can only move a company file within 60 days after signing up to QBO.
• If you have set up a payroll in QBO, we recommend moving over your list instead of your company file.
• There are list and reports won't be converted because of feature differences.
• Make sure QuickBooks is up-to-date.
• Check if your company file isn’t too big to export.
• Print a copy of your Sales Tax Liability report. You'll need it to enter adjustment entries after your move.

Now, let's get started in importing your QBDT data into QBO. Here's  how:

1. Log in as an admin. On your keyboard, press Ctrl+1 to open the Product Information window, then press Ctrl+B+Q.
2. Select Start your export.
   
3. Sign in as an admin to your QBO company.
4. If you track inventory in QBDT:
   • Select Yes to bring them over, then specify the as of date.
   • Select No if you want to set up new items later in QuickBooks Online.
5. Select the Choose online company drop-down, and choose the QuickBooks Online company you want to be replaced by your company file.
6. Select Continue.
7. Enter “Agree” in the text field, then select Replace.
8. Select Yes, go ahead and replace the data, then select Replace.
