I have downloaded information from my companies checking account. Does Quickbooks download the check image or the name of the payee

Please know that your financial institution controls what and how information is received by QuickBooks. By default, the program will always include the date, amount, and description of the transactions. For most banks, the name of the payee is included in the transaction but they're unable to attach the check image.

I'd recommend coordinating with your bank so you’ll know what data they're able to include in your bank transactions. Alternatively, you can log in to your bank’s website and verify how your transactions are posted. There are times that you may need to select or toggle a special setting so the payee names will be included in the downloaded transactions.
