Question

I need to re-download Quickbooks Pro 2018. I have license and products #. How do I do this?

Welcome aboard to the Community. I’m here to guide you in downloading QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018 on your desktop. 


Get a copy of your QBDT version via this link: https://downloads.quickbooks.com/app/qbdt/products. Then, download the program by following the steps below.

  1. Select your QuickBooks versions by choosing the country, product and year version. 
  2. Hit Search.
  3. Click the green Download button.

 

 

Right after, proceed with installing QuickBooks. Let me show you how:

  1. Run your downloaded QuickBooks 2018.
  2. Click Yes on the pop-up message.
  3. Choose Next to begin the installation.
  4. Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement box and click Next.
  5. Enter your License and Product numbers, then select Next.
  6. Follow the on-screen instruction to complete the installation.

You are now ready to activate QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2018. Simply click the Help menu once the program opens and click Activate QuickBooks. Check out this article for more information: Activate QuickBooks Desktop for Windows.

    my lap top has a msg that says the down load has 4 HRS left.  is there something I need to do different?

    Hi @Idahowalkers,

     

    The download process is dependent on the internet download speed of your network. Other users connected to the same network you're connected to is also a factor.

     

    I'd suggest for you to check on this, and if possible, try a different internet connection.
