Question

I use my personal finances to fund my LLC and QuickBooks will not accept the transfer for my personal account to my business account. How do I resolve this issue?

I'll share some steps to help you with your concern, userevan1.

 

You can create a transfer between two accounts using any of the following:

  • Transfer
  • Check
  • Imported Bank Transaction
  • Journal Entry

Although transfer is the easiest way to add a transaction, if you encounter a problem, you can use the other method above.

 

For creating a journal entry, you can following these steps: 

 

  1. Go to + New Journal entry.
  2. On the first line, select the LLC account and enter the amount in the Debits column.
  3. For the second line, select your personal account and add same amount in the Credits column.
  4. Click Save and close.
