It appears that my 2019 checking connection was not working. How can I import that information now into my self-employed QuickBooks account?

Can you tell us more about the error you're having with your bank account? That'll help us check to see if there's an ongoing issue with it.

In the meantime, you can download/export the bank transactions from your online banking account in a CSV file. Then upload/import the file to your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) account. 

 Once you have created your file, here's how you can import your bank transactions:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Transactions, select Imports.
3. Select Import older transactions and click on Browse.
4. Find and open the CSV file of your bank transactions.
5. Click Open and then select Continue.
