I have a hold on my account for a charge that hasn't posted to the month, but the ending balance reflects its subtraction. How do I record that?

I appreciate you for sharing the details with me, @trishakeel.

To reconcile your accounts accurately in QuickBooks Online (QBO), I recommend not to include the charge since it hasn’t been posted in your bank. This way, the ending balance doesn’t reflect as subtraction.

Once the charge is posted to the month, that’s time you’ll want to include it in when reconciling your account. I got you this article that you can read to guide you in reconciling your accounts smoothly: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

In case you’ll encounter some issues when reconciling your accounts, you can refer to this article for guidance on how to handle the situation: Fix issues when you're reconciling accounts in QuickBooks Online.

I’ll be around if you have other concerns or questions about reconciling your accounts in QBO. I’m more than happy to work with you. Take care and have a great day!
