Welcome to the Community forum, @htman18. I'm here to lend a hand.

You can hide a bank account if you don’t want to see transactions from a particular bank account.

To isolate the issue as to why you're unable to toggle off the bank account, I recommend accessing your account in a private browsing window to ensure no outdated files are leading to this issue.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts that will help you accomplish this in all supported browsers:

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command+Shift+N

Once you've logged into your account, try to toggle off the bank account again

Here’s how:

  1. Click the Gear icon on the upper right hand.
  2. Choose Bank Accounts from the drop-down menu that appears.
  3. Find the account you want to hide and toggle OFF the Show Account option.

Here’s an article that you can check on for more detailed information on how to hide a bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed: Delete a bank account in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Come back to me if you have additional questions about deleting your account. I'm always here to assist. Have a great day!
