Question

Why am I having issues connecting my bank accounts today. Seems to be the case for all of them.

Most banks accounts show Error 390, One of them shows Error 324

Error 390 means your bank is currently making changes on their end, which temporarily breaks the connection. Error 324 means QuickBooks can no longer find one of your accounts on your bank's website, usually because that account has been closed or its details have changed. You can fix both by reconnecting the affected accounts, so let's walk through each one.

For Error 390, review and reconnect the affected account using these steps:

  1. Go to All Apps, select Accounting, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Select the bank account showing the error.
  3. Select the Pending tab and review any pending transactions to add, review, or match them so nothing is lost.
  4. Once reviewed, select the edit icon on that account's tile, choose Edit account details, tick Disconnect this account on save, then select Disconnect and Save.
  5. Select Link Account and reconnect the account to bring your bank feed back online.

For Error 324, since this usually means the account itself has been closed, suspended, or changed on the bank's side, the account will need to be disconnected and replaced with the new one:

  1. Go to All Apps, select Accounting, then select Bank Transactions.
  2. Find the account showing Error 324 and select Fix Now, which will take you to Manage Connections.
  3. Select the affected account, select Disconnect, then confirm the disconnection.
  4. Select Link Account, search for your bank, sign in with your current credentials, then select your new account to complete the setup.

If either error continues after reconnecting, it's best to contact your bank directly to confirm there are no changes on their end affecting the connection.
