Question

As of this morning 5/3: Why no employee billing rate listed in their employee page, and when I enter weekly timesheets employees nor services have billing rate? Thanks

Hi there, @landscape-buenav.

Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community. Allow me to share some troubleshooting steps so you can get back on track with running payroll in QuickBooks.

For now, I suggest performing some basic troubleshooting steps to help isolate and resolve the issue.

Let's start by signing into your account through an incognito window. It'll allow you to access QuickBooks without using cookies.

Check out the keyboard shortcuts below to open a private browser:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: press Command Shift +N

If it works, I suggest you proceed with clearing the cache. There are times too much data can accumulate over time and cause issues when using QuickBooks.

If the issue persists, It would be best to contact our QuickBooks Customer Care. One of them will need to review your account in a more secure environment and determine what's causing the problem.

Here’s how:

1. Go the Help icon to choose Contact Us.

2. Type the issue/topic under the What can we help you with section and then hit the Let’s talk button.

3. Scroll down to select the Start messaging or Get a callback option.

Also, you can check this article for some helpful links and resource which contains detailed steps for running payroll: Get started with Payroll.

If you have additional questions or concerns while working in QBO, leave a comment below. I’ll be happy to help you out.
