Hi there, @thomasrobertmeye.

QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) automatically categorizes the transactions when connecting your bank to Online banking. There are many expense categories and we need to match them with the specific lines on your Schedule C. See the Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed article for more details about this one.

If you're unsure what category we need to apply for the Unemployment Income, I'd suggest consulting your accountant to ensure your books are accurate and posted to the right category. You can also visit our Intuit Find-A-ProAdvisor site to find certified professionals near you. To help you with preparing your self-employment taxes, you can check out these articles:

Keep me posted on how it goes after reaching out to your accountant. I want to make this is taken care of for you. Have a great day ahead.
