Does anyone know how to get pass the W-9 page when accepting an invite from a client. I have tried to enter my EIN number with and without a dash with no success.

First, open the invitation email and click the Enter W9 info button, and this step will take you to a browser page. Copy the link in the address bar and paste it into the address bar of a private or incognito browser.
