Does anyone know what the 2020 renewal cost will be for a 1 employee payroll service?

Depending on what type of payroll subscription you currently have. I recommend calling into support as they have tools available that can pull your account and see the subscription type you have and provide you pricing for renewal.

To contact support:

1. Open QuickBooks.
2. Go to Help, then select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
3. Click Contact Us.
4. Give a brief description of your issue, then hit Continue.
5. We’ll provide you a few support options. Choose which one is best for you.

I just received notice that my QB payroll will renew for $464, plus $2 per month per employee!!  I pay 2 employees once a month and process the payroll and reports myself!  The cost is highway robbery!  I had to purchase a new QB program last year (which included one year of payroll) and it was cheaper ($290) than a year of the payroll subscription!  Intuit is going to price themselves out of the market for small business!!
