First time doing QBO payroll. How do i make an employee who is listed as "not on payroll" in the list of inactive employees activated. TY

I'd be glad to provide you the step-by-step process in activating your employees in QuickBooks Online. You can change their status through the employee's profile.

Here's how: 

1. Click Workers in the left panel and choose Employees.
2. Select the inactive employee to open their profile.
3. Click the pencil icon beside Employment.
4. Change the Status to Active.
   
5. Hit Done.
6. You'll see their name in the list of active employees.
