Hello, @jennytjdylan.

 

It seems like you're using auto-mileage tracking. I'd like to know if you've seen an error on your mobile when starting to track your trips. If yes, you can share it in the comment section to show you the specific solution. If there's none, I'd recommend checking the setup in your device. Here are the possible reasons why you're not able to get the transactions from your trips:

 

  • Then QuickBooks (QB) App on your device was not updated.
  • QB App was not enabled to run in the background.
  • QB App is listed in the ignored list or was added in the battery restrictions.
  • The mobile device' OS was not updated.

 

As a workaround, you can manually add the trips in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). You can refer to the steps below:

 

  1. Go to the Miles menu.
  2. Select Add trip.
  3. Input the distance in the Add miles field and edit the Date.
  4. Select the ✏️pencil icon to edit the start and end addresses. This is optional.
  5. Add a Trip purpose note.
  6. Select Save when done. This is how it looks like:
