I can help you with that, soohwa1.

We can only cancel an electronic if it has not been processed yet or transmitted to the receiving agency. Additionally, we can delete federal tax payment two business days prior to the payment date before 5 P.M. PST. For state taxes, they have different lead time for processing tax payments.

Let's go to the Taxes menu to check the status. Here's how:

  1. Select Taxes from the sidebar menu, then choose Payroll Tax.
  2. Click View tax payments you have made under Taxes.
  3. Select the name of the tax payment.
  4. From the drop-down arrow/menu, select Delete (if it's not yet transmitted).
  5. Select Yes to confirm the deletion.

However, if it's already been processed, I recommend directly contacting the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System or your state agency for further assistance.

To learn how to check the status of your e-filing or e-payment, you can read this article: Check e-filing or e-payment status

In case you'll need to keep track of employee expenses, you can run the payroll reports.

I'll be right here to keep helping if you have any other concerns or follow-up questions. Assistance is just a post away.
