Thanks for keeping in touch with us here in the Community, @KChamber.
We're unable to add an address to a sales tax payment. This is because QuickBooks will automatically use the state agency's name as its address.
As a workaround, we can create a dummy check and then use the address as the payee. Here's how:
Click the +New button, and then choose Check under the Vendors section.
Go to the Payee drop-down ▼, and then select +Add new.
Enter the address name. Fill out the necessary info such as the Bank account, Payment date, Category details, etc.
Click Save and Close once ready.
Then, let's delete the check after printing by going to the Moreoption at the bottom.
Once done, you can now proceed to paying your sales tax. Then, use the check number for the sales tax payment created: Pay sales tax.
You may also want to pull up the available sales tax reports in QuickBooks Online. One example is the Sales Tax Liability report to know how much sales tax you've collected and owe to tax agencies. I'll guide you with the steps:
Go to the Reportsmenu, and then choose the Standard tab.
Select Sales Tax Liability Report under Sales tax.
Fill me in if you have more questions about managing your sales tax or anything else related to QuickBooks. I'll be here to help. Take care and stay safe always.
