Before we begin, there area few different ways on how to delete a scheduled payroll tax payment in QuickBooks Online. I'm here to show you how you can do this.
If you have QuickBooks Online Payroll Enhanced and you're using the E-Pay feature to pay your taxes electronically, then you can ignore the warning message about the liability payment or if the taxes have been submitted. Here's how you can delete the tax payment:
Go to the Taxes tab in the left-hand menu, then choose Payroll tax.
Click View tax payments you have made under Taxes.
Select the name of the tax payment. Change the date range if necessary.
If you're using QuickBooks Full Service Payroll or needing assistance with the deletion, then I recommend contacting the QuickBooks Payroll Support Team for further assistance.
In case the IRS or a state agency sends you a notice about a new deposit schedule or filing requirement in the future, then you can follow these steps: How to change federal deposit and filing schedule.
You can leave a Reply if you have any questions or concerns that you may have with this process. I'll be here. Have a nice day!
