How to claim food and drink for voluntary workers?

You'll want to create an account for your volunteers food and drink and apply it when you create a transaction.

1. Go to Accounting and choose Chart of Accounts.
2. Click the New button.
3. Fill in the necessary information (Account Type, Detail Type, Name and others).
4. Click Save and Close.
   

If you're not sure with the Detail Type, I recommend you consult with your accountant to make sure it is properly track it in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
