How to get time activity into project totals?

QuickBooks Online comes with a comprehensive Projects feature where you can easily create time activities. Let me help you get your time activity.

First, turn on the Billable Activities, here’s how.

1. Go to the Gear icon, Click Account and Settings
2. Select Advance.
3. Select Time tracking
4. Check the box next to Make Single-Time Activity Billable to Customer
5. Select Save and Done.

Once done, create a billable Time Activity by following these steps:

1. Select the + icon
2. Under Employees, select Single Time Activity
3. Input the relevant info (make sure to check the Billable (/hr) box and specify a rate)
4. Select Save and close.
