I am just trying to get my tax docs that were sent to me via a link from an old company and its making me subscribe for $15/mo?? help. I cant even find the docs?

One possible reason for this is either you previously subscribed to a trial account or an inactive paid subscription. 

If you'd like to access your 1099 form, I recommend contacting your employer to email it instead. For more details about the process, I suggest checking this article: View your 1099 in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Once logged in, I suggest following these steps to access the form::

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
2. Go to the Clients menu.
3. Select the Forms tab.
