The print and mail option can be found in Step 5 - File when preparing your 1099s in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Here's a sample screenshot.
If you're unable to see this, try signing into your QBO using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is browser-related (cache and cookies ) issue.
Here's how:
Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
Control + Option + P (Safari).
Once logged in, continue preparing your 1099s to double-check. Here's how:
In QBO, go to the Expenses menu to get to the Vendors page.
Click Prepare 1099's and select Let’s get started or Continue preparing 1099s. Then, walk through the module until you're on Step 5 - File.
Select the Print and mail button.
Choose 1099-MISC from the form type section and press the Print sample on blank paper. If it's not aligned on your form, click the No, it doesn't line up button.
Adjust the alignment, then Next.
Review the form and select Print.

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.
