Question

I cannot get the 1099s to e-file, or rather the screens won't load to even start the process. I've been trying for days. Any pointers?

Hello, userheather1.

I've checked with my resources and verify with our engineering team. There is no reported issue where customers unable to e-file their 1099 form in QuickBooks.

Let's open your QuickBooks account using the incognito mode or private browsing. These are built-in features in the browser that allows you to access websites without storing any data.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N
  • Mozilla: Ctrl+Shift+P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If you're able to e-file the form, you'll need to clear your browser's cache to optimize its performance.

I also suggest running the Health Checkup Tool. It is used to check multiple aspects of the browser to ensure the application runs seamlessly. Also, I'd recommend using a different browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer.
