QuickBooks follows the coding system set for US addresses, D10dryers.

I'll help you match the employee's city, state, and zip code. First, let's ensure the address entered is correct.

Then, use the USPS zip code database. It helps us search the zip code for the given street address and city or the cities within the given code.

However, if information is correct and you're still encountering the same error, it could be you're experiencing browser issues. We'll try a few steps to fix it. Let's start with opening QuickBooks Online through an incognito window. It's the best place to identify web issues. These are the shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you're able to enter the correct address, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. It's best to clear them out now and then to prevent browser hiccups.

Moreover, you can use a different web browser. It could be the browser you're using has issues with our program.

I'll also add the article about  W-4 to help you with entering the employee's info correctly.
