I have filed the 1099s for contractors. One is complaining that he is receiving notices from QuickBooks to download his 1099 online. How can I stop these notices?

Welcome to the Community. I know how annoying reminder notices can be. I’m happy to help walk you through turning them off. Start by logging in to the 1099 e-file service, iop.intuit.com. Then:

1. In the Intuit 1099 E-File Services screen choose company settings.  

2. Choose "Data Usage Option"

3. Choose "No. Only send printed copies to my contractors."

This will stop any future notifications, but will still allow contractors to view and/or print their 1099’s from the original notification.
