Payroll submission day is the day that you submit your paychecks. Your lead time will determine what your payroll submission day will be.

The lead time is different per payroll subscription. Some subscription has a 1-day lead time. Although, you still need to submit it before 5 PM PST 1 business day before the check date. Since you've processed it after 5 PM, your employees will receive the funds one business day after the check date.
