Question

My self employed business, food delivery (DOORDASH) started March 29, 2021. Do I owe and pay taxes now or should I wait until 2022 for my first quarterly tax payment?

I'll give a brief overview about your self-employment taxes.

Depending on your situation, the rule is that you are required to pay your estimated tax quarterly. QuickBooks Self-Employed helps track your income and expenses. The program calculates what you need to pay each quarter. Just make sure to add all of your business income and expenses and categorize them.
