Just to let you know, you can still use QuickBooks to process payroll even without an internet connection, as long as you're not using online features like direct deposit. However, if QuickBooks prompts you to download Payroll or QuickBooks Desktop updates, you'll need an internet connection to ensure you have the latest features and security updates. Once the update finishes, you can disconnect and resume working offline.
