Payroll taxes are not being taken out

QuickBooks uses the payroll information you've entered in your payroll product to calculate your paychecks. Taxes may not be deducted for several reasons, including:

• The employee, tax, or payroll item setup in QuickBooks
• The wage limit has been reached
• Your QuickBooks Desktop Payroll and its tax table aren't up to date

Please check if the setup of your payroll wages, deductions, or contributions is correct, then update if needed in your payroll product. If accurate, verify if the wage limit has been reached. If not, you'll need to check that QuickBooks Desktop and the tax table are updated. This will help prevent payroll problems and ensure your account has the most recent tax rates and calculations. To do this, follow the steps outlined below:

1. Go to the Employees' menu
2. Select Get Payroll Updates.
3. Tick the Download Entire update checkbox.
4. Click Update. A window appears when the download is complete.

Having similar problem. Switched to enhanced payroll Jan 4th & verified account as active. When start manual payroll, all payroll taxes are showing $0.00. How do I fix this?
