Thank you for posting here, @chousman.

Possibly that your employee is set up to a different pay schedule. To resolve this, let's first check that employee's payroll set up.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Workers menu.
  2. Click the Employees tab.
  3. Select the name of the employee to open the profile.
  4. Hit the pencil icon next to Pay.
  5. From the How often do you pay Employee? section, check the pay schedule to ensure it's correct.

When done, run payroll and create paychecks

However, if you still can't see the employee's name even the set up is accurate, this may be a browser issue. You can fix this by performing some basic troubleshooting steps.

First, open your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account in a private browser and run payroll. Here are the shortcut keys you can use:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you can see the employee, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache. This will remove the stored cache or cookies to refresh your browser's background process. We also advise to periodically clear them to prevent web problems. If not, you can use other supported browsers

Also, if you want to assign schedules to pay your employees in QBO, you may proceed to the QuickBooks Online Payroll section of  this article: Set up and manage payroll schedules.
